The Mardi Gras fairy has waived his magic wand over me and given me a new job. I start at Andrew Martin, a largish design company on Monday.
So you will not be seeing me at the Vauxhall this Sunday. But you will be seeing me at Mardi Gras, We are having breakfast somewhere fabulous, then watching the parade go by, tubing to the park and playing the day away. Hope to see you all.

I am off to see Closer To Heaven tonight with Michael, Sam, Tighe, Graeme, Andrew and Leonardo. I will tell you what I think about it when I get a chance.

Have a great Mardi Gras weekend everyone
Well, it was a design company, but without all the Anushka's and Sarra's (note the spelling, not a mistake) running around with hermes scarves and trust funds. They need someone to run the trade furniture department. I was told by the financial guy that I was over qualified (the pig) and was told by the woman doing the hiring that she needed me yesterday (she was lovely). So who will win...

Me hopefully in the long run.

Money is fair but loads of scope for growth and tons of industry knowledge. And it is a company I have always respected, I used to deal with them in SA.

Still holding thumbs

Hairs cut
Suit and shirt pressed
Long soak and much preening (just to feel good about myself)
Re-read the life story of my 15 years in the decor industry
OH! and discovered how to make latte (better than Coffee Republic), so I don't catch on as quickly as other homos, so had about 4 so far

Must remember....

Speak slowly (I forget about the Serf Efricen Accent sometimes)
Be as confident as I can
Flatter everyone and then some

Watch this space for the outcome of tomorrow...
OK, positive energy time please, I need you all to focus it in my general direction tomorrow at 10am ( I am afraid you will have to get up in the middle of the night Michael) coz I just landed an interview with the company I would kill to work for.
I have had two bites from all th cv's I have sent out. It's starting to work, I can feel it. The one is from a company I would kill to work for. So fingers crossed again coz ever since my karma ran over my dogma I have been a bit unlucky.

Not much to report, still phoning companies and posting and e-mailing cv's. I know that somewhere out there in London, is my perfect job. I just wish it wasn't so well hidden!!

I enjoyed reading Michael's account of the New York Pride day.

I am off to Soho this evening to help my mate Karl celebrate his birthday, will be upstairs at Comptons from 21h00 onwards if anyone feels like popping in for a drink, other that that, the week is pretty slow.

Oh the fun we had at Dave's farewell.

Well we waved Uncle Hedgehog goodbye in grand style yesterday, starting at his old apartment for afternoon drinks and minkering, he had as usual attracted a bevy of beauties, including some of my hot favorites. It was good fun and Wayne took tons of photo's, so I will publish a link as soon as he uploads them. Then on to the Tavern, and I am afraid I don't remember much more about the evening, except at 23h45, when we were saying goodbye to Dave, and he turned around as he walked out of the door of the Tavern, gave a little wave, and asked us to look after it for him. We will Hedgehog, don't you worry, and we will miss you so much.

How the hell are we going to meet all of London's hotties now??

Great work on by the way, it's perfect
